National Night out in eastmont Hills

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual block party organized by communities all over the country that is meant to increase awareness about police programs in communities, such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch, and other anti-crime efforts. The events are typically organized by block watches, nonprofit organizations, companies, and police departments. 

In 2021, while it wasn't the first for the community, EHNA was proud to host NNO for the 1st time. Through grassroots campaigning, EHNA raised over $1000 to put together a safe, outdoor gathering with food and gifts for kids. We also had special attendance by the Oakland Fire Department, District 6 Council Office, and California Assembly Candidate Mia Bonta! In 2022, EHNA was proud to continue this momentous occasion.
