Making a Difference

The Eastmont Hills Neighborhood Association (EHNA) is a modest group of 150+ Oaklanders that volunteer their time and effort to seek positive development in the Eastmont Hills district and neighboring areas. East Oakland deserves it. EHNA hopes to attract local businesses in the food & beverage, retail, and special skill services while maintaining a thriving residential community and maintaining equity by investing in the community.

EHNA is committed to addressing the needs of our community in Eastmont Hills and surrounding areas. Our current initiatives include:

• Community Safety (crime deterrence)
• Beautification (planters, public art projects, facade upgrades)
• Green Streets (litter clean up, illegal dumping deterrence, blight abatement, environmental campaigns)
• Traffic Safety (traffic reduction in residential streets)
• Community Outreach & Development

While 150+ members strong, EHNA is organized by a tiny team of volunteers seeking positive development in the area. We are spread very thin with many issues to tackle. We need your help in building action committees to tackle the issues our area faces.

We rely on the funding of our members to manage these phases of improving our community. If you'd like to help and request surveillance or beautification, please join us by becoming a member.
